Welcome to the third and final installment in our "All About ほど" series! What's that? I never called it that before? Such wasted potential...
In this lesson, ほど will be the key piece of grammar in a brand-new structure. We'll be able to use this new structure to say things like "The warmer it gets, the more I want to go 'suns out guns out'!" as well as other, very important phrases.
Conditional (ば) verb + Casual form verbほど......
Conditional (ば) い-adjective + Casual form い-adjectiveほど......
な-adjective/nounであれば + な-adjective/nounであるほど......
な-adjectiveならば + な-adjectiveなほど......
Nounほど......
Example:
→ 練習すればするほど上手くなる。
"The more you practice the better you get.”
