(Sentence 1)。なぜなら(ば) + (reason for sentence 1)から
Example:
→ 税金を払うべきだ。なぜなら、 そうしないとビッグフットに怒られてしまうからだ。
"We ought to pay taxes. This is because if we don't, Bigfoot might get mad."
Yes, the very same Bigfoot that committed tax fraud back in The Depths of Devotion. Talk about hypocritical amirite?
Anyways, the main point of the なぜなら~から pattern is to put special emphasis on the reason for a certain outcome/result/opinion/etc. But before we get into the nitty gritty of that, let's take a look at the different components that comprise this grammar point!
