  Statement. そのため(に)、(result)。
  Example:
  → 先週せんしゅう、この辺あたりにビッグフットが現あらわれました。そのために、警備けいびがたくさんいます。
  "Bigfoot appeared in this area last week. Due to that, there's a lot of security.”

「そのために」 is a fairly formal conjunction, that has two main usages:
