Today's extremely short but extremely sweet lesson is all about how we can use the word 「考えられない」 (lit. cannot think), to form statements of "disbelief", "unthinkable facts", and "unimaginable realities".
(Phrase)なんて考えられない
(Phrase)は考えられない
Example:
→ 責任を取らないなんて、考えられない。
"I can't believe (they) won't take responsibility.”
考えられない is simply the negative potential form of 「考える」 "to think", and often follows the following grammar:
