Nounに当たる
Example:
→ 今年は、クライミングを始めて4年目に当たります。
"This year corresponds to my fourth year since I started climbing.”
Right off the bat, you should know that 当たる is a very versatile verb. It can be used in a myriad of situations, from hitting things, to fishing, to this lesson's main meaning: "to correspond to; to be equal to".
As far as usage goes, ~に当たる sounds fairly stiff, and tends to be used in official/business situations.
