まるで(verb)よう・みたい
まるで(noun)のよう・みたい
Example:
→ まるで飢えている犬のように、そのラーメンをガツガツと食べはじめた。
"They started eating the ramen with vigor, as if they were a starving dog.”
Allow me to introduce you to まるで, an adverb meaning "completely; entirely". On its own, まるで can be used to create statements like,
