Welcome to another lesson!
In this one, we cover ~にしろ・にせよ, two similar but slightly different pieces of grammar. Let's be quick and get going though, because it's almost snack time and I'm getting a bit hungry!
Verb/い-adjectiveにしろ・にせよ
Noun/な-adjective(である)にしろ・にせよ
Example:
→ 肉にしろ、野菜にしろ、食べる量が大事だ。
"Whether it's meat, or veggies, the amount you eat is important.”
「Xの場合でも(Yの場合でも)Zである」と言いたい時に使われる。
「〜にせよ」は「〜にしろ」よりも硬い言い方。
