I know you're a big fan of suffixes so I pulled some strings and now I've got two awesome suffixes for you today: ~化 and ~風. Go ahead and read on to find out what they mean!
Noun化(する)
Example:
→ 日本は少子化が進んでいる。
”Birth rates in Japan continue to decline.”
First up is ~化! 化 indicates that something is changing in some way, and is used in words like 進化 ("evolution") and 化学 ("chemistry"). When we attach 化 to a noun and use it as a suffix, it means "-izification" or "-ification". And we can do this with pretty much any noun! Fun! Here are some common combos to start us off:
