Introduction
Hello! And welcome to another "stem form
The "stem" of a verb, made by conjugating a verb to its ます-form and removing ます (e.g. 食べる → 食べます → 食べ).
verb + verb" lesson! I heard you enjoyed the last one covering ～始める and ～出す so much, that I decided to write you another one right away! This time, instead of "starting" we'll be looking at "continuing" and "finishing". Sounds fun, right? Let's do it!
～続ける・～終わる: Actions that continue, and actions that finish
As you've read, we'll once again be attaching verbs to the stem form

We'll be dealing with two verbs in particular: 続ける "to continue" and 終わる "to finish". First up, continuous actions.
