About

できる's conditional forms (できれば・できたら) are used to express "If possible...".

E.g. できれば1階かいではないほうがいいです。

"If possible, I'd prefer not to be on the first floor."

できれば and できたら (casual) are used to soften requests, making them more polite.

E.g. できれば、牛乳ぎゅうにゅう2本ほんもお願おねがいできますか。

"If possible, could I also ask for two cartons of milk?"

できましたら is also possible and sounds more polite than できれば.

E.g. できましたら、ご意見いけんやご感想かんそうをお聞きかせください。

"If at all possible, please let me hear your thoughts and opinions."
