Question particle

About

When it comes at the end of a sentence, the か particle indicates a question. Use of か without です・ます can sound quite direct and potentially rude, particularly when used in combination with the よ particle. Casual, friendly questions often simply drop か altogether.

か can come in the middle of a sentence as well, but in this case, it usually does not indicate that the sentence is asking a question, but rather that the speaker is unsure of something.
