About
Attach も to the negative て form (なくて) of a verb or adjective to express "even if not (verb/adjective)".
E.g. 食べる → 食べなくて → 食べなくても
For nouns and な-adjectives, you can express "even if not (a noun/な-adjective)" by attaching も to じゃなくて or ではなくて (formal).
E.g. 学生じゃなくても
~なくても can be combined with いい ("good") to express that "it's okay if X isn't done/isn't the case", or to ask a question in the same fashion.
E.g. 食べる > 食べて > 食べなくてもいい
