～おかげで

About

～おかげで is used to express that something is "thanks to" something/someone. ～おかげで attaches to the casual form of verbs and い-adjectives, to nouns using の, and to な-adjectives using な.

E.g. スティーブのおかげで、おいしいマフィンを作つくれるようになった。 "Thanks to you (Steve), I can now make tasty muffins!"

～おかげ can be followed by か when the reason for a given outcome is uncertain.

E.g. 天気てんきのおかげか、最近さいきんは気分きぶんがいい。 "I'm not sure if it's thanks to the weather, but I've been feeling good recently."

The ～おかげさまで phrase can be used to give thanks "in general" or to a specific person/thing/group.
