About
途端(に) follows past tense casual verbs, and is used to express: "the moment (someone did) X, Y happened".
E.g. 立ち上がった途端に、めまいがした。 "The moment I stood up, I got dizzy."
E.g. 犬は飼い主の顔を見た途端、しっぽを振って喜んだ。 "The moment the dog saw its owner's face, it wagged its tail happily."
途端 can be written in either kanji or kana.
~途端(に) should be followed by instantaneous actions/actions that happen in quick succession.
~途端(に) should not be followed by the speaker's will/intent, plans, or by a request/command.
