〜に関わらず（にかかわらず）

～に関かかわらず is used to express either that something is done, or that something is true "regardless of X", or in more general contexts, a lack of restriction.

～に関かかわらず can attach to verbs, い-adjectives, な-adjectives, and nouns.

～に関かかわらず is fairly formal in tone, and is most commonly used in formal spoken or written scenarios. For casual conversation, ～に関かかわりなく is more common.

E.g. 雨あめが降ふる降ふらないに関かかわらず、明日あしたの試合しあいは行おこなわれます。 "Tomorrow's match will be held, regardless of whether or not it rains."

E.g. オーディションに受うかるかどうかにかかわらず、歌うたの練習れんしゅうは毎日まいにちしておいた方ほうがいいよ。 "Regardless of whether or not you pass the audition, you should practice singing every day."

E.g. このロブスターは大おおきい小ちいさいに関かかわらず、全すべて1匹いっぴき3000円えんです。 "Regardless of size, all of these lobsters are 3000 yen each."

E.g. この電車でんしゃは、距離きょりにかかわらず、乗のるのに1回かい250円えんかかる。 "This train costs 250 yen per ride, regardless of distance."
