ら・たち
Pluralizing suffixes
About
Although Japanese nouns can be either plural or singular, most pronouns require additional grammar to become plural. Two of the most common pluralizers are 等 (often written in kana) and 達.
達 is a fairly polite pluralizer that can attach to a pronoun to express "we" or "you (people)".
等 (also "we" or "you (people)") (often written in kana) is more casual than 達, and can be rude if used in the wrong situation.
There are certain cases in which either 達 or 等 is preferred, such as 彼, which usually takes 等.
