絶対
Definitely; certainly
About
絶対 can function as either an adverb or a noun, and means "absolutely..." or "certainly...". When used as an adverb, 絶対 takes the に particle, although this is often dropped in spoken Japanese.
Usually, 絶対 comes before the phrase it modifies:
E.g. 絶対に楽しい。
"That's definitely fun."
However, sometimes this order can be reversed in spoken Japanese.
E.g. それ楽しいね。絶対。
That's fun. Definitely.
絶対 can be used in both positive and negative contexts.
