~てくれて can be combined with ありがとう or the more polite ありがとうございます to say "Thank you for doing X for me."
E.g. 手伝ってくれてありがとう。"Thank you for helping me."
In more formal situations, the 尊敬語 (respectful language) variant of くれる, くださる, can be used instead.
くれる and くださる are often combined with the adverb いつも to say "thank you for always...".
