わlcome. LOL.
In this lesson, we'll cover one of the more difficult sentence-enders, 「~わ」, and then we'll chill out with the super-declarative 「~ぜ」, which is mainly used in anime/manga.
Let's go, ya!
Casual form verb/い-adjectiveわ
な-adjective/noun(だ)わ
Example:
→ これ、好きだわ。
"Oh man, I like this.”
わ can be a complicated sentence-ender. This is mainly because わ molds itself to the sentence it ends, rather than having one particular meaning. It's sort of a sentence-ending chameleon. Then, tack on the fact that there's a "feminine" and a "genderless" わ, as well as regional differences... and well, I think it's clear why there isn't a lot of succinct info out there about this little piece of grammar.
