わ is a sentence ender that adds emphasis to a given statement. What わ emphasizes depends on the sentence that comes before it. Often, わ functions as a sort of verbal exclamation mark, emphasizes a statement's determination, or indicates that a statement is based on the speaker's own will.

E.g. 明日あしたから頑張がんばるわ。 "I'll do my best starting tomorrow."

There is a gender-neutral わ and a "feminine" わ. The "feminine" わ is indicated by rising intonation, combination with the particles よ・ね, or use with です・ます.
