Welcome to のに, part two! I hope you remember them from the Depths of Devotion because they're back... with a vengeance!

Although, I can't but feel like they look a bit different. A bit... sus. What's going on here?


〜のに: In order to do all the things

    Casual form verbのに
    Example:
    大量たいりょうだったから、べるのに時間じかんがかかった。
    "There was a lot, so it took me some time to eat it.”

So, waaay back in the previous region, you learned how to use のに to say "in spite of" or "even though". For example:
