Back in the Fledgeling Forest, you learned how to say "Without doing X" by using a verb's casual negative form, ない, together with the で particle. For example:

夜ご飯を食べないで寝た。

諦めないでやった。
The ～ないで pattern simply says that something is done "without doing X". But what if I told you, that there's another, more formal way to say this? And what if I told you... that that's what we'll be covering today? 😲✨
