Welcome to こそ: Part Two!
In this lesson, we'll be cracking open こそ's tough exterior, and getting into some more complicated usages. Let's get crackin'!
Noun/adjective/verbからこそ
Example:
→ ずっと待てたからこそイラっとしてるんだよ。
"It's exactly because I've been waiting for so long that I'm mad.”
First up is the 〜からこそ pattern! This is used when we want to put some extra emphasis on the reason for something.
Forming 〜からこそ is easy! All we need to do is combine こそ with から ("because"), but do note that から should always come first.
「からこそ」 can follow verbs, adjectives, and nouns. Let's take a look at some examples of each in turn!
