It's a bird! It's a plane! It's... ばかり round three!
You must be shocked that ばかり has so many different usages, and I don't blame you. It's like the Swiss Army Knife of adverbial particles! Anyway, let's get down to business.
Casual (dictionary) form verbばかりだ
Example:
→ 今年の夏は暑くなるばかりだ。
"This summer keeps getting hotter and hotter.”
~ばかりだ is very similar to some other grammar you recently learned: ~一方だ ("X is getting more and more Y"). The key difference is that ~ばかりだ doesn't include the "more and more" nuance, meaning that we're able to use it with verbs that don't have an "increasing/decreasing" quality.
