Relationships, love 'em or hate 'em, they're a part of life. And learning how to talk about them is an important part of learning Japanese!
Today, we'll cover how to say that things are "connected" to other things, or that there's a "relationship between X and Y".
Sounds awesome right? Right???
Nounと・に(は) + 関係(が・の)ある
Example:
→ バナナ王国には一切関係がありません。
"(I) have absolutely no connection to the Banana Kingdom.”
The ~関係がある pattern is simply 「関係 ("relation; connection") + the が particle + ある」, and is all about expressing that "there is or isn't a connection between X and Y."
