必ずしも~(negative phrase)
Example:
→ 必ずしも良い大学を出た人が賢いわけではない。
"People who went to a good university are not guaranteed to be clever.”
You met 必ずしも briefly in our last lesson, but let's make sure you get to know each other properly. Yes, it's fine that you didn't bring them a gift. (They didn't get you anything either.)
