必ずしも〜（かならずしも）

About

必かならずしも is stiff in tone, and combines with a negative verb/noun/adjective to form the 必かならずしも～ない pattern: "X isn't necessarily Y; X isn't guaranteed to be Y".

E.g. 親おやの言いうことが必かならずしも正解せいかいだとは限かぎらない。 "What your parents say is not guaranteed to be correct."

E.g. 日本にほんにある寿司すし屋やが、必かならずしもどこも美味おいしいとは限かぎらない。 "Not all sushi restaurants in Japan are necessarily going to be tasty."

E.g. 砂糖さとうをたくさん入いれたからって、必かならずしも美味おいしくなるとは限かぎらない。 "Just because you put in a lot of sugar doesn't necessarily guarantee it'll make it tastier."

必かならずしも commonly combines with ～とは限かぎらない・わけではない・とは言いえない.

E.g. 週末しゅうまつの授業じゅぎょうは、必かならずしも出席しゅっせきしなくてはいけないわけではないです。 "It isn't the case that you are absolutely required to attend the weekend classes."

E.g. 必かならずしもそうとは言いえない。 "I can't say that for certain."

必かならずしも may also be paired with regular negative verbs/い-adjectives, as well as nouns/な-adjectives with じゃない・ではない attached.

E.g. Doodle翻訳ほんやくは必かならずしも正確せいかくではない。 "Doodle translate is not guaranteed to be correct."

E.g. 失敗しっぱいは必かならずしも悪わるいことじゃない。 "Failures are not necessarily bad."
