About
必ずしも is stiff in tone, and combines with a negative verb/noun/adjective to form the 必ずしも~ない pattern: "X isn't necessarily Y; X isn't guaranteed to be Y".
E.g. 親の言うことが必ずしも正解だとは限らない。 "What your parents say is not guaranteed to be correct."
E.g. 日本にある寿司屋が、必ずしもどこも美味しいとは限らない。 "Not all sushi restaurants in Japan are necessarily going to be tasty."
E.g. 砂糖をたくさん入れたからって、必ずしも美味しくなるとは限らない。 "Just because you put in a lot of sugar doesn't necessarily guarantee it'll make it tastier."
必ずしも commonly combines with ~とは限らない・わけではない・とは言えない.
