Noun(の・である)ことから
Example:
→ マイクさんはまだ寝ていることから、昨日はかなり遅くまで飲んでいたと考えられます。
"Based on the fact that Mike is still sleeping, it can be thought that he was out drinking until quite late yesterday.”
Today's lesson is all about the ~ことから pattern, which is used to express "Based on X thing..." or "From X thing...", with "thing" being 「(Phrase)こと」. For ~ことから statements, the thing that we are basing our statement on should be some reality or concrete fact.
