〜ことから is a formal piece of grammar that is most commonly used in written contexts, or formal spoken contexts (e.g. the news) and generally translates to "Based on the fact that/From the fact that/Due to the fact that...".
〜ことから can attach directly to verbs/い-adjectives, or to な-adjectives/nouns using である or の・な.
〜ことから attaches to information that is based on established realities, or facts.
