Welcome to the 「途中」 lesson!
Whatever you do, don't give up halfway. That would just be too topical.
Casual form verb途中(に・で)
Nounの途中(に・で)
Example:
→ レッスンを書いている途中でお腹が空いたから、キッチンに行ってケーキを食べた。
"I got hungry in the middle of writing a lesson so I went to the kitchen and ate some cake.”
~途中 is a deceptively slippery piece of grammar. It starts off all simple, but then you're like "Wait, what?", then it makes sense again, but quickly after you're like, "What the heck?". Don't worry though, it's all part of the process, and I'll do my best to limit your frustration as much as possible.
