
Today, we're going to cover an advanced way to talk about things you want to do, or want others to do. There's going to be... a lot of wanting. So go on, think of something you really want to do. For me, you already know it's going to involve food, but unfortunately, today's grammar point doesn't work too well with that kind of desire. I guess I'll just have to have a snack while I figure out what to say instead...

~たくないもの + だ・です
~てほしいもの + だ・です
~ないでほしいもの + だ・です
Example:
→ いつか自分の家を買いたいものだ。
"I really want to buy my own house one day.”
