The compound particle we'll be looking at today is none other than には! には gets a bad rap because many sources fail to explain it correctly. This leads to students getting stuck in a never-ending loop of "perceived understanding" → confusion → forgetting → returning to the same sources → and repeat. The reality is, once you truly understand には, you'll have absolutely no trouble remembering what it does, and why it be the way that it do.
