About

The て form of nouns can be formed by attaching で, the て form of the auxiliary verb だ.

Nouns with で attached can be used for both て form's "and..." and "because..." usages.

E.g. 僕ぼくは二十歳はたちで、学生がくせいです。 "I'm 20 years old, and a student."

E.g. ハイキングは雨あめでキャンセルになった。 "The hike was cancelled because of the rain."
