わざわざ is an adverb that indicates that someone has gone "out of their way" to do something, or that someone has done something expressly for "X" purpose.
E.g. 遠くまでわざわざすみません。 "Thank you for coming all this way."
E.g. 今日のためにわざわざ休みを取ってくれたんだね! "You took time off just for today, didn't you?"
わざわざ can be used in either positive or negative contexts. The following is an example of a negative context わざわざ sentence:
E.g. こんな話のためにわざわざミーティングを開く必要はありません。 "There's no need (to go out of our way) to have a meeting just to talk about this."
