Welcome to yet another auspicious Adept adverb adventure! Ah, an awesome alliteration.
Today, we'll look at three (very cool) adverbs: わざわざ, ますます and いちどに. Ready? Set, go!
わざわざ(rest of sentence)
(Start of sentence)わざわざ(rest of sentence)
Example:
→ わざわざワッフルを作ってくれたの?ありがとう!
"You went out of your way to make me waffles? Thank you!"
As the title suggests, わざわざ is an adverb that is all about going out of one's way to do stuff. In other words, わざわざ expresses that someone has done something that they didn't necessarily need to do, and can be used in both negative and positive contexts.
