About

かぎりでは is used to make a statement that is framed using the limits of one's knowledge/ability, or by a limiting factor like a set of data.

かぎりでは can be approximated with "as far as", as in "as far as I know", or "as far as I can see". When ~かぎりでは attaches to nouns, it can be translated as "as far as (noun) goes...".

The 〜かぎりでは pattern can attach to casual form verbs (and occasionally nouns).

E.g. 今朝けさかぎ(では)、まだとどいていませんでした。 "As far as I could see this morning, it hadn't been delivered yet."

E.g. わたしかぎ(では)、マイクとゆみはっていません。 "As far as I know, Mike and Yumi are not dating."

E.g. 調査ちょうさ結果けっかかぎでは、そのとうつとはおもえません。 "As far as the survey results go, I do not think that party will win."

かぎりでは can drop 「では」, changing the nuance of the sentence by removing は's emphasis on the following information, and as a result, placing more weight on the information that precedes かぎり.

The (noun)のかぎり(verb) and ~かぎりの(noun) patterns are also possible, and indicate that something will be done "to the extent of X", or that one will "do as much as they can".

E.g. できるかぎのことをします。 "I will do as much as I can."

E.g. ちからかぎ応援おうえんしますよ! "I'm going to support you as much as I'm able!"
