一緒に
Together
About
The adverb 一緒に can be used to express "together" in Japanese. 一緒に can be used with people, animals, or inanimate objects. Often, the と particle is used in combination with 一緒に to link two things together, but may not be present in sentences that don't include the person/thing that an action is done together with.
If 一緒に is followed by a verb it describes that said action was done "together" with something/someone else. This means that both nouns must logically follow according to the verb (i.e. you can't use 一緒に to link tacos and a mojito if the following verb is "to eat").
