から
Because
About
から is one way to say "because" in Japanese, and links a "reason" clause with a "result" clause. The order of these clauses is flexible, and sometimes the "result" clause is omitted altogether.
から can follow a casual verb, い/な-adjectives, or a noun. Both nouns and な-adjectives require だ to attach to から.
In formal situations, から may also follow です・ます.
Compared to ので, から is less polite but may be used in a wider variety of sentences, as it is not limited by the same rules as ので.
