The ~てから structure combines a て form verb with the particle から ("from"), to express that an action is performed once another action is completed. This follows the structure:
(verb 1)てから(verb 2)
Wherein verb 2 is done once verb 1 is completed.
E.g. 終わってからやる。
"(I'll) do (it) once X is over."
The ~てから structure can be used to talk about our own actions, or to tell other people what to do and in what order.
