~ば
Conditional form
About
「ば」 is one of the major conditional markers in Japanese, and it can be used to form the conditional form of verbs and い-adjectives. Conditional form verbs and adjectives are used to make conditional statements, such as "If A, then B," and "Whenever A, B".
For verbs, turn the final kana into its respective「え sound」kana and add ば.
E.g. 食べる > 食べれば
Conjugate い-adjectives into the conditional form by replacing their final い with けれ and adding ば
E.g. おいしい > おいしければ
