〜やる
To give/to do a favor (casual)
About
やる can be used as a very casual "to give" or "to do X as a favor". Because it is very casual, and slightly gruff/masculine, it should be avoided in formal and polite contexts.
Like the verb あげる which also means "to give", やる can be paired with a て form verb to express that an action is done for someone, or it can directly follow a noun that is being given.
