「(Noun)にとって」 is used to express "to (noun)" or "for (noun)", and allows a statement to be framed from a given POV.
~にとって is most commonly attached to nouns that represent a specific person, type of person, or a group of people.
~にとって can also be followed by the particles は, も, and の.
E.g. これはただの包丁ですが、私にとっては宝物です。 "This is just a kitchen knife, but to me, it's treasure."
E.g. マイクが採用されるのは私たちにとっても、会社にとってもいいことだ。 "Mike getting hired is good for us, and the company."
