I don't mind if you do X/giving permission/asking perimssion

About

The ~てもかまわない pattern is a combination of a て form verb/い-adjective (or a noun/な-adjective + でも), and the negative form of the verb 「かまう」 ("to mind; to care").

~てもかまわない is used to give/ask for permission, or to make compromises.

E.g. 辞書じしょ調しらてもかまいません。 "You may use a dictionary."

E.g. ここにすわてもかまいませんか。 "Do you mind if I sit here?"

E.g. 状態じょうたいがいいなら、中古ちゅうこでもかまいません。 "If it's in good condition I don't mind if it's used."

~てもかまわない sounds somewhat stiff/formal, and isn't used much in casual conversation.

~てもかまわない should not be used with one's superiors.

~てもかまわない can be used to ask for permission, by simply forming a question: 「~てもかまいませんか・てもかまわない(です)か」.
