わざと means "on purpose" or "intentionally", and can be placed in a sentence before an action that the speaker wants to describe as being done "on purpose".
E.g. マイクはわざとアボカドの皮も食べた。 "Mike intentionally ate the avocado peel as well."
E.g. わざとやったの? "Did you do that on purpose?"
わざと is commonly used in combination with grammar such as ~ように, ~たくて・たくなくて, and ふりをする.
E.g. 練習を休めるように、わざとシューズを忘れて行った。 "I intentionally forgot to bring my shoes so that I wouldn't have to go to practice."
