The ~ものがある pattern is used to create an indirect statement of how one feels about a given person/place/thing/topic.
~ものがある can be approximated as "there is something X" or "I feel X" in English.
~ものがある can attach to casual form verbs and い-adjectives, as well as to な-adjectives using な.
E.g. まほさんの演奏は、人の心に響くものがありましたね。 "There was something about Maho's performance that resonated with the heart, wasn't there?"
E.g. 自分の故郷が廃れていくのを見るのは寂しいものがある。 "There's something sad about watching one's hometown decline."
