About
する ("to do", etc.) is one of the few irregular verbs in Japanese, and conjugates differently than any other godan verb.
Casual | Casual Past (た) | Negative Casual (ない) | Polite (ます) |

する | した | しない | します |
Rather than すった, する conjugates to the past as した, rather than すらない, する conjugates into the negative casual as しない, and rather than すります, する conjugates into the polite form as します.
する also has exceptional conjugations for more advanced grammar such as potential form and て form.
