About
ずっと is an adverb that indicates an action is done over an extended period of time. It can be translated as "forever", "for a long time", or "for X period of time".
ずっと is often confused with いつも ("always"), but いつも indicates that an action "always" happens (i.e. indicates frequency), while ずっと indicates that an action happens over a given period of time. There are many situations where these adverbs are interchangeable.
