Just when you thought you were finally done with compound verbs, here are TWO more for you! Huzzah!
But don't worry, today's compound verbs are actually super straightforward. Or at least, they are when compared to 〜込む.
Stem form verb立て
Example:
→ 焼きたてのパンだ!美味しそう!
”There's freshly baked bread! It looks tasty!”
We can attach 立て (often written in kana) to a verb's stem form to describe said verb as "just done", "new", or "fresh".
What you'll notice about ~たて in comparison to the other compound verbs we've looked at previously, is that たて is always in its stem form (the stem of たてる to be specific). Because of this, ~たて compounds are treated as nouns.
