In the previous lesson, we covered expressing changes of state with the continuative form (い-adjectives)
where the last い of the adjective becomes く (i.e. {美味|おい}しく, {長|なが}く, etc).
+ なる・する. We also covered the fact that using する gives said change an active agent—a "doer". In other words, we covered the difference between saying "The coffee became warm," and "Me warm up coffee. Yum. Coffee."
Ahem. In this lesson, we will further nuance your understanding of なる・する by attaching them to nominalized verbs (and maybe some bonus other stuff). Sound like fun? ...I'll pretend I didn't hear that.
Casual form verb/Negative verbことになる・する
Example:
→ コーヒーを飲むことにした。
"I decided to drink coffee.”
