〜にする
To decide on something
About
The ~にする pattern is one of the most common ways to discuss decisions in Japanese. As opposed to ~に決める, ~にする tends to be used for more trivial decisions, rather than important ones. As opposed to ~になる, ~にする represents an active decision, made by the speaker or main subject.
To use ~にする, simply attach it to a noun. This then becomes the noun that is being decided upon.
